About the Event
We are honoured to present a special live webinar session with Hon'ble Shri Dama Seshadri Naidu, a former eminent jurist of the High Courts of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Bombay and a Present Senior Counsel in Hon'ble Supreme Court. This enriching session is curated for law students, legal aspirants, academicians, and professionals eager to delve deeper into the nuances of the Artificial Intelligence and the Law.
About the Distinguished Speaker
Former Justice and present Senior Counsel Shri Dama Seshadri Naidu was an eminent Indian jurist, known for his incisive judgments, deep legal insight, and service in three major High Courts—Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Bombay. Born in Andhra Pradesh, he studied law at Sri Venkateswara University and began his practice in Tirupati, later moving to Hyderabad, where he built a strong and respected practice in both civil and criminal law.
Appointed as a judge in 2013, Justice Naidu earned a reputation for bringing clarity, innovation, and a touch of humane reasoning to the bench. His commitment to legal education is equally commendable—he has been associated as guest faculty at the Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy and is also the author of several impactful legal texts.
After demitting office as a judge, he returned to active legal practice and continues to contribute meaningfully to the legal field as a Senior Counsel at the Supreme Court. Over the years, he has delivered numerous seminars and webinars at reputed legal institutions across the country, sharing his experiences and insights with students, academicians, and practitioners alike.
One of his most memorable sessions was a seminar titled "Law and Language", reflecting his strong belief in making legal discourse more accessible and relatable. During the Kerala floods, he touched hearts by expressing his thoughts through poetry—an example of the rare blend of legal brilliance and emotional sensitivity that defines him.
