About the Internship

The Apex Court Drafting Internship focuses on imparting clarity, precision, and depth in legal writing through real-time assignments and guided tasks. Each component of the internship has been designed to cultivate essential litigation-oriented skills.

Key Areas of Learning

1. SLP Drafting

Interns will learn:

  • The structure and components of Special Leave Petitions

  • How to frame questions of law

  • Techniques for drafting synopsis, list of dates, grounds, and prayers

2. Case Notes Drafting

Interns will be guided on:

Eligibility Criteria

This internship is preferably recommended for:

  • 4th and 5th-year law students enrolled in five-year integrated law programmes

  • Final-year students of three-year LL.B courses

  • Students with prior interest in litigation, research, or appellate drafting

However, passionate and committed students from other years may also be considered based on the quality of their application.
